As of April 1, 2026, Mr. Christoph Wiedemeier has taken over the position of Technical Managing Director at Schwerter Profile GmbH. Together with Mr. Erik Janthur as Interim Commercial Managing Director, the management team is now fully established.

With this setup, we have created a clear structure and combined our strengths in engineering and market understanding to further develop our company in a focused and sustainable way.

For our customers and partners, nothing changes. Your usual contacts remain in place and will continue to support you reliably in all matters.

Schwerter Profile GmbH is investing in the future: During the Christmas shutdown 2025, three of our old rolling stands will be replaced with new equipment as part of a major modernization program.

To carry out this work, production will be completely stopped from December 15th, 2025 until January 9th, 2026 (expected). During this period, no deliveries can be made.

We kindly ask our customers to take this into account in their planning. With this investment, we ensure that we can continue to provide the highest quality and reliable deliveries in the future.

Please note our annual planned summer shutdown from 04.08. until 29.08.2025.

The loading times must be agreed on a case-by-case basis.

We are proud to announce that Schwerter Profile will be running its sites at Eisenindustriestraße and Liethstraße on 100% renewable electricity from 1 January 2024. This measure ensures that we are completely emission-free in Scope 2 of our corporate carbon footprint. We are thus taking a significant step towards ‘green steel’ and setting an example for the environmentally conscious use of resources. This is just the beginning of our endeavours for a more sustainable future.

Schwerter Profile GmbH has been awarded the internationally recognized “CrefoZert” creditworthiness certificate from Creditreform. “The creditworthiness certificate confirms that we are financially secure and have impeccable business operations. It also gives us a positive outlook for the future,” says Reinhold Klein, Commercial Director. Only two percent of all German companies fulfill the criteria for receiving this seal of quality. Schwerter Profile GmbH is a new company founded on July 1, 2021, which emerged from the insolvency of Hoesch Schwerter Profile in 2021. In view of the last few years, Schwerter Profile is setting an example of demonstrable monetary stability and trustworthiness by receiving the “CrefoZert”. “We are very proud of the good result of the credit assessment and would like to thank all our employees for their excellent work,” says the management.

The rolling mill of Hoesch Schwerter Profile GmbH becomes Schwerter Profile GmbH with new shareholders. With its new shareholders, the new Schwerter Profile GmbH is designed for a long-term orientation of the corporate strategy as a system supplier for special profiles.
